In the event a person dies, or almost dies, then reawakens or comes back to life, it is often considered a NDE. One reason this is the case is that there are a number of Near Death Experience Short Stories online. Although, it is not the experience itself which has drawn a great deal of attention but the commonalities shared among those whom have had similar experiences during the process.

When an individual dies, rarely does one come back to life. While this is the case, those whom have often share similar tales. As a result, when an individual returns to life after death, the experience is often one worth sharing.

One of the best reports of such a phenomenon can be found in the movie Heaven Is For Real. In the film, the story focuses on a boy whom miraculously comes back to life after dying from a serious illness. As an add-on to the movie, a number of people share real life incidents of having experienced a NDE. In the most interesting case, several survivors share painted images with common themes and visions.

A number of shot stories related to these experiences can also be found online in blogs, posts and videos. To better understand the phenomenon, exploring these stories and talking to NDE survivors is often the best way to learn more about Near Death experiences. For, while these stories can easily be incorporated into books, movies and videos, the best way to find out more is from those whom have had an actual experience.

While akin to actual stories, it should be noted that the Flatliners films are nothing more than fiction. In addition, individuals need know that the events in these films never took place. For, in order to have the long experiences each had during death have no commonalities with real life incidents.

Unlike in the movie, real researchers have now proved the commonalities among NDE survivors. At first, researchers as others were skeptical at best. Then, when researchers started hearing and reading about the similarities in real life scenarios, the reality became more probable.

Some themes which were reported from survivors include, having no sense of boundaries, time or space, seeing a light at the end of a long dark tunnel from which family members, friends or religious figures were walking towards the individual. In some cases, individuals reported being pulled into a tunnel then be pushed back while the vision faded back into darkness.

As far as the personal experience during death, most report a sense of being awake and aware though knowing one was no longer of this world during the process. In almost all incidents, the individuals reported being pain free, at peace and having a sense of overall well-being. The one experience which was the most common among all those having had a NDE, is that of seeing all of life flashing by shortly before death.
