You might consider reading a few of her other works if you enjoyed what you saw in this collection. Since many of her other books share similar themes with this one, there is a very good chance that you'll enjoy these other books just as much as this collection, if not more. There are certainly all kinds of people who have enjoyed the radiance spiritual reflections series of short stories, and any of those people will probably enjoy author Fiona McFarlane's entire collected works.

If you are the kind of person who has a lot of responsibilities to get through every single day, you might find that it is incredibly difficult to find the time to finish reading a novel, let alone one that is close to a thousand pages long and has chapters that seem to go on forever. Those individuals should give a shorter story a try, and one of these might be perfect for you. It is always possible to just read them one at a time, and so then that way you won't get overwhelmed by all of the reading that you still have left to do before you reach the end, since the end can simply be whichever story you choose to finish on. You might surprise yourself and want to pick up the next one at some point later.

It might be hard for you to get in touch with your spiritual side if you are among the many people in the world today who weren't brought up in a meaningful church community. Sometimes it is possible to feel trapped by your religion, and if that's the case, you might want to try to have a meaningful experience reading something like this. Church is an important aspect to spirituality because of the community element that it brings to the table, but there is a personal internal side to spirituality, a mental journey that every individual has to take in order to feel close to God, and reading this kind of thing might be what does it for you.

It is great if you can read some reviews to learn more about this kind of thing. Plenty of reviewers are just donating their valuable time to help you make a better decision. It is better if you can read as many of these reviews as possible so that you don't accidentally buy into one person's opinion that is horribly biased.

If you read a little bit about who Fiona is, you might be able to understand her work more deeply. Her prose alone communicates so much of her past and personality. It is nice when you know the context.

A synopsis is often helpful to find out a little bit of the story before you proceed with buying it or even just checking it out from the library and spending your valuable time reading it. That way, you can see what the story is about and be more prepared for the messages that are in the words to sink in. It is a lot faster than reading the whole thing when you can just read a synopsis first, and it is usually pretty easy to find one of these online.

It is definitely true that everyone would love to be able to talk to God. Arguably, everyone can. However, it is not always easy, and it's nice to hear from someone who is good at it.

It's best to approach these types of works with cautious skepticism. The facts that she can't prove her legitimacy and that she has made money from this should be considered. That being said, this is not proof that she is lying either, so it is a good idea to consider both of the options, read her work if you like it, and continue reading if her words convince you.
