The byproduct of making chocolate from cocoa is the husk. This so called byproduct can be used to make cacao tea which is highly beneficial to the health of its users. Many people in the world use it with the highest concentration being Africans in Africa

Vitamins and minerals; minerals and vitamins are some of its numerous benefits. The Vitamin C which is greatly needed by the body is found in this cup of tea. The key ingredient used to make this tea is found in the cocoa husks which contain potassium, copper, iron, magnesium and calcium, all necessary for the body functions. When bodies lack these minerals they do not really function as well. One main example is what is used to make red blood cells; iron.

Health of the heart; cocoa contains some minerals that really help the heart health wise. The increase of heart functions by Magnesium really keeps the blood flowing. The survival of your body is dictated by oxygen; key mineral, copper, increases the chances of red blood cells getting oxygen, this circulates through the blood around our bodies. You also have Vitamin E, of which keeps the heart health and bars any disease from attacking the heart.

Feeling good; serotonin levels in our body are what determine our moods. The compounds found in cocoa increase levels of serotonin and balance it for a contentment feeling and happiness all day. For this reason cocoa is considered to be aphrodisiac for men and women though this is a theory yet to be scientifically proven.

Brain function; the brain is the central processing unit in human bodies if it can be compared to a computer. An increase in brain activity is always a positive thing. Cocoa increases your brain activity and has no side effects on you such as dizziness and headaches. Compared to caffeine which does the same, it is better for it doesn't increase heart activity as caffeine does.

Fighting illness; one of the diseases that has indiscriminately faced all people across all countries and social classes is diabetes. This disease has left out no one spared, both the young and the old. There are foods that people living with diabetes have been told to really keep away from so as to better and not worsen their conditions. The people with this condition can benefit from cocoa tea because not only can they not increase blood sugar levels because it is not sweetened, it can also greatly improve cell function.

Antioxidants; it is always good to have that youthful look on your face. Antioxidants usually slow down the aging process keeping you looking young and health. Fruits, grains and vegetables are well known as sources of antioxidants. It is surprising to note that cacao has the equivalent level of antioxidants which is even higher than that found in green tea and also in red wine. Its level of antioxidants is almost that same to the one you find in blueberries.

Listing all its benefits is almost impossible as some of them have not been found. For a healthier life, you can keep it in your kitchen cabinet; surprisingly it was once thought to be waste. Every person's wish is a long and healthy life, cocoa tea is the answer to that, because it improves serotonin in your body.
