The international corporation took control for only a short duration of one year. In the year 2008, December, the ownership of the funeral home was transferred to Lethbridge, Caring Group Corporation.
Until 2012, Allan Schrader, a prior owner of the institution, worked here as a manager. However in the springs of 2012, he went to work with his sons Darren and Lawrence in their Funeral home, Kamloops. After Allan left, Paul MacDonald, who had been the owner of Funeral Home Clayton in Quesnel for many years, took over the stewardship of the institution.He had been in Clayton since his retirement.

His successor was Paul MacDonald who had previously been the owner of clayton in Quesnel for numerous years.He had worked as its managing director immediately after his retirement before moving to smithers.
