The mind cools down and gives you physical relief as well at this state. Theta state: This state is below Alpha and brain pulse shows 4-7 cycles per second on the EEG. The mind gets the extreme of calmness in this state. You get this state of unconsciousness at the time of deep sleep. Delta state: this is the last state of mind before death and you get it, while dreamless sleep. The EEG shows 0-4 cycles per second of your brain pulse at this state.
